For those not golfing, a cultural exploration of Kobe awaits. Discover the city’s famed attractions and reconvene with our golfers later to share tales of the day over a selection of local delights.

Sake Tastings & Tour
After golf & our non-golfers will join up with the golfers and both will enjoy a tour that celebrates Japan’s rich heritage of sake. It’s an exploration of tastes and traditions that will enrich your understanding and appreciation of these fine spirits.

The prestigious Golden Valley GC, a masterpiece designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Jr, presents a course exquisitely woven into the lush landscape. Here, Jones Jr’s mastery is evident in how the natural terrain is leveraged to create a beautiful yet challenging golfing experience.

Discover Kyoto’s Charm

Step into the enchanting world of Kyoto, a mere hour’s journey from Kobe, where ancient traditions seamlessly blend with the vibrancy of modern life. Begin your day with a visit to the iconic Fushimi Inaritaisha Shrine. Here, thousands of striking vermilion torii gates create a mesmerizing path, each gate a testament to devotion and a piece of history.

Continue to Kinkakuji, the illustrious Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple where the shimmering gold leaf facade reflects the city’s rich cultural legacy. Next, discover the tranquil beauty of Kiyomizudera, the “Pure Water Temple,” nestled in the hills and revered for its connection to the Otowa Waterfall.
Authentic Kyoto-Style Traditional Lunch Experience

Lunch Ceremony with a Maiko [Optional $249pp]
For those who want an authentic experience we recommended adding on our lunch with a maiko, an apprentice geisha. Post-ceremony, engage in an enlightening conversation with the maiko, delving into the mysteries of geisha life and the historical tapestry of Kyoto.

While the golfers are playing their round at Daihakone, today offers an opportunity for our non-golfers to explore Hakone including the nearby Masataka Iwata of the Venetian Glass Museum, gardens or indulge in the rejuvenating embrace of the Hakone spa. A diverse array of baths awaits to soothe your body and elevate your spirit. Choose from the deep tranquility of the walking tub, the gentle embrace of the ordinary tub, or the invigorating pulse of the Jacuzzi. Last but not least, enjoy a course that has been selected as the No1. course in Japan. Featuring majestic fairway views of Mount Fuji, a true hillside course, Gotemba is the flagship of the Taiheiyo Club family. After playing this course, it’s easy to see why Gotemba is host to a range of international professional tournaments, including the Mitsui Sumitomo Visa Taiheiyo Master and the World Golf Championships EMC World Cup. Many say “you haven’t golfed in Japan until you’ve played Gotemba.” And we have to agree.
Farewell Dinner
As the day draws to a close, we gather for a celebratory Farewell Dinner, reflecting on our shared memories over exquisite cuisine. It’s the perfect finale to our grand tour, a sophisticated evening of toasts and tales in a setting that’s as memorable as the journey itself.
